IQ tests attempt to do that & give you consolidated score. But IQ itself is an outdated examination because the real challenges of living have scores of other dimensions in it.

Once you learn to qualify your intelligence you would know that a skill based/ operations based job would need more technical intelligence, planning jobs would need higher logical intelligence, sports performance would need a good body & mind intelligence, to speak of few.

IQ treats intelligence as a one solitary function. But people who fair poorly in math could come out as brilliant technicians, artists or athletes. IQ apparently does not believe that athletic performance or artistic performance requires intelligence. By & large the academic syllabus could be qualified into verbal intelligence (Languages) & logical intelligence (Math, Science, Accounts, Economics).

• Memory recall is not an intelligence function although creation of systems through which data is stored is intelligence demanding function.
• Thinking about a problem enhances intelligence application worrying about problems recedes the intelligence.
• Learning the tables by heart is a shortest way to solving figure related problems, although making a choice of what to learn requires added intelligence.
• In general the challenges of life are simple when there is only one solution to a problem. They intensify when it requires suggesting more than one solution to the problem.
• In general inventing a formula is equivalent to creating a system although implementation of formula would require lesser intelligence than operating a system.
• Running a system requires much less intelligence; decision making requires more frequent use of intelligence.
• Two & two would make four only in specific circumstances; math tables could be applied only conditionally.
